1. Who we are

BabyTaps ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application for iOS and Android developed as an independent project. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at thisaruudam@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect no personal information.

BabyTaps does not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information. The app has no login, registration, or account system of any kind.

The only data stored by the app is a small set of anonymous preferences saved locally on your device using the platform's standard local storage (Android SharedPreferences / iOS NSUserDefaults). This includes:

• Your selected theme (e.g. Confetti, Bubbles, Space, Animals)
• Whether sound, haptic feedback, and shake-to-explode are enabled or disabled
• Whether you have completed the onboarding screen

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. How we use information

Because we collect no personal information, we have nothing to use, sell, share, or analyse. The locally stored preferences are read only by the app itself to restore your chosen settings between sessions.

4. Third-party services

BabyTaps does not integrate any of the following:

• Advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Crash reporting services that transmit data externally
• Social login providers (e.g. Sign in with Apple/Google)
• Payment processors

All audio synthesis and particle rendering happens entirely on-device. No network requests are made during normal app operation.

5. Children's privacy

BabyTaps is designed for use by infants and toddlers under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian. We are fully aware of — and compliant with — applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.

Because we collect no data from any user — of any age — there is no risk of child data being collected, stored, or transmitted.

6. Data security

Since no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no server-side security risk. The only stored data (your local preferences) is protected by your device's operating system security model.

7. Data retention

Local preferences are retained until you uninstall the app, clear app data through your device settings, or reset them manually via the Parent Panel within the app. We retain no data on our end because none is ever sent to us.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights relating to your personal data (e.g. the right to access, rectify, or delete it). Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, rectify, or delete. However, if you believe we have inadvertently collected information, please contact us and we will respond promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
