Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Tiny Taps Baby (also known as BabyTaps; "we", "us", "our") is a mobile application for iPhone and iPad developed as an independent project. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at thisaruudam@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect no personal information.

Tiny Taps Baby does not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information. The app has no login, registration, or account system of any kind.

The only data stored by the app is a small set of anonymous preferences saved locally on your device using the system's standard local storage (iOS UserDefaults). This includes:

• Your selected theme (e.g. Confetti, Bubbles, Space, Animals, Rainbow, Dino, Fireworks)
• Whether sound, haptic feedback, and shake-to-explode are enabled or disabled
• Whether you have completed the onboarding screens
• If a parent starts the 7-day free trial, the date it started, so the app knows when it ends
• Whether the optional one-time purchase has been made (see section 5a)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. How we use information

Because we collect no personal information, we have nothing to use, sell, share, or analyse. The locally stored preferences are read only by the app itself to restore your chosen settings between sessions.

4. Third-party services

Tiny Taps Baby does not integrate any of the following:

• Advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Crash reporting services that transmit data externally
• Social login providers (e.g. Sign in with Apple/Google)
• Third-party payment processors (the optional purchase goes through Apple only)

All audio synthesis and particle rendering happens entirely on-device. Apart from Apple's own in-app purchase system, the app makes no network requests.

5. Children's privacy

Tiny Taps Baby is designed for use by infants and toddlers under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian. We are fully aware of, and compliant with, applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.

Because we collect no data from any user (of any age), there is no risk of child data being collected, stored, or transmitted.

5a. Purchases

The App offers one optional in-app purchase. It is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see, receive, or store your payment details, billing address, or Apple Account information.

Whether you have purchased is recorded only on your own device, and is checked against Apple's on-device receipt. No purchase information is sent to us, because we operate no servers. We pass no advertising or user identifier to Apple with the purchase.

The 7-day free trial is not a purchase. Starting it involves no payment, no Apple Account and no network request; only its start date is stored, on your device.

6. Data security

Since no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no server-side security risk. The only stored data (your local preferences) is protected by your device's operating system security model.

7. Data retention

Local preferences are retained until you uninstall the app, clear app data through your device settings, or reset them with Reset Settings in the Parent Zone. We retain no data on our end because none is ever sent to us.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights relating to your personal data (e.g. the right to access, rectify, or delete it). Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, rectify, or delete. However, if you believe we have inadvertently collected information, please contact us and we will respond promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
